M. Renee Cummings
Renee Cummings has worked in immigration law since 2005. Her practice has focused on representing immigrant families as well as victims of violence and exploitation. She is a member of the Immigrant Crime Victims’ Rights Subcommittee of the Oregon Department of Justice. Since 2011, Renee has provided legal consultations for international students at Portland State University through its Student Legal Services office.
Renee has lectured on various aspects of immigration law at local and regional conferences as well as training pro bono attorneys through Catholic Charities’ immigration program. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild. She speaks Spanish fluently.
